Brendon Speaks to Johnson & Johnson and Their Brand of Companies in New Jersey

Brendon continued to deliver his message about “Standing on the Side of Equality” just before his journey to the White House and Gay Pride Week in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA. On June 3rd and 4th, Brendon joined the employees of Johnson & Johnson and their brand of companies include Janssen Pharmaceuticals, McNeil and J&J Corporate and Consumer groups. His two day adventure included speaking to J&J’s groups in Fort Washington, PA, Titsusville, Skillman and New Brunswick, NJ.

Former Super Bowl Champ is a gay rights advocate and straight ally who is known as much for his prowess on the gridiron as he is for his outspoken support for gay marriage. As a child of a bi racial couple, Brendon was taunted over his parents’ right to be married, and this harsh bias left its mark. Today he sees the fight to legalize same-sex marriage as the 21st century version of the fight for racial equality.

Brendon shared his story on his up bringing, his family, life in the locker room and ways for the LGBT community to get involved. After the moderated Q&A with Paul Scoggins, the VP of Porfolio Management at Johnson & Johnson, Brendon mingled, took photos, signed autographs and even pulled some raffle winners.
